Based in Canberra, this position is responsible for the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the finance team within agreed budget guidelines. The role reports directly to Executive Management, with responsibility for all legislative and statutory requirements; management of information, business performance, budgeting, establishment and maintenance of policies and procedures, as well as risk management, contributing to special projects, and actively participating in the management, training and development of staff.
The person appointed to this role will be self-motivated, multi-skilled, will demonstrate initiative, tact and diplomacy, have excellent communication skills at all levels, as well as relevant degree qualifications, and extensive experience leading a finance team. A CA, CPA or a Masters' degree (such as an MBA) will be highly regarded.
