NSW Architects Registration Board
As a result of the promotion of the current incumbent into a national role, the NSW Architects Registration Board, whose core responsibilities include regulating architects and promoting an understanding of architectural issues in the community, has an opportunity to appoint a new Registrar to lead the NSW Architects Registration Board.
The Registrar will manage a team dedicated to excellence, innovation and professionalism, with a particular emphasis on achieving the common goal of outstanding service delivery of the objectives set by the Board. A high level of competence in managing the finances of the Registration Board, which is totally funded by fees paid by architects, architectural firms and corporations, will be a key expectation of the Registrar.

The successful candidate will have experience at a senior level, reporting to a not-for-profit Board, managing complaints investigation processes, demonstrated leadership, high level communication and negotiation skills, experience in working with partners to implement innovative projects, an awareness of architecture and current issues, as well as tertiary qualifications. An attractive remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
- providing high level, collegiate leadership to the organisation;
- overseeing practice examinations and course accreditation processes;
- managing the Board's interface with the public, architects and stakeholders through effective media, website and social media management.
