Remuneration package circa $160K plus OTE $60K incentive per annum Our client, a major Australian company established in 1990, primarily to finance information technology systems, wishes to appoint a Senior Business Development Manager for its ACT operation. The primary function of the role is to build relationships within the Federal Government sector with new and existing clients and key decision makers at both the government agency and Ministerial office level, with a view to developing further business opportunities in Canberra. The ideal candidate will have a strong market presence with the highest personal integrity and credibility, and have established networks across federal and state government agencies as well as a demonstrated capability for building new and sustainable relationships with key decision makers across the public and private sectors. An understanding of government procurement guidelines and the preparation and submission of tenders will be crucial. To thrive in this dynamic role, you will be self-motivated, multi-skilled person, demonstrate initiative, tact and diplomacy and have excellent liaison and writing skills, as well as a track record in establishing good business relationships, winning contracts and delivering the highest level of customer service. Tertiary qualifications in marketing or business, are required.
