Executive Assistant

Our client is a multi-national law firm with a reputation for being entrepreneurial and fresh-thinking.  The Corporate Group within the Canberra office is currently seeking an outstanding Executive Assitant to provide day-to-day support to the Group.

Duties include:

  • managing international and domestic travel requirements, filing, photocopying, faxing, dictaphone, typing, email management, expense processing, maintaining the Corporate and practice group email lists and updating the contact database;
  • Word processing of various correspondence including e-mails, file notes, minutes, presentations (both internal and external), confidential memos and letters;
  • Drafting, review and preparation of basic correspondence / documents;
  • Assistance with management of incoming communications, including e-mails, mail and voicemail;
  • Involvement in ongoing projects and ad-hoc basic research requirements (i.e. internet searching) as required from time to time;
  • Inputting timesheet information, setting-up of matters and preparation and editing of pre-bills using the CMS system.

The successful candidate will have outstanding administrative skills and experience; possess a mature, friendly, professional and approachable nature; be able to make a creative and innovative contribution to the firm; have the ability to operate with discretion; as well as being proactive and using initiative.
