Due to the relocation of their current CEO to the Mid North Coast, the Snowy Hydro SouthCare Rescue Helicopter Service Trust has a requirement to appoint a high profile entrepreneurial Chief Executive Officer, who, under general Board direction, will continue the management of the entire operations of the Trust Fund.
With the support of a small team and an enthusiastic group of volunteers, crucial requirements of the role include initiating and maintaining relationships with major sponsors and suppliers, securing new sponsorship agreements, liaison with government officials, community organisations, regional local governments and acting as the Service’s spokesperson for the media. There is also a requirement to initiate community fundraising activities and manage the legislative and corporate governance aspects of the Service.
We are seeking a person with high energy levels, who is self-motivated, multi-skilled, demonstrates initiative, tact and diplomacy and has excellent liaison skills, as well as a track record in achieving outstanding results in a dynamic professional business environment. Tertiary qualifications in business management, as well as experience in sponsorship acquisition, fundraising, event management and public relations will be highly regarded.
